Australia Pacific Climate Alumni Network in partnership with Pacific Climate Change Centre and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Samoa (MNRE) hosted a 2 day workshop in Apia, Samoa on the 13-14 March 2024, on Knowledge Brokerage Tools to catalyze climate action and decision making.

The workshop aimed at strengthening the capacities of knowledge broker practitioners (with participants from the different divisions in MNRE and its key partners) in Samoa working on information and knowledge management in the climate change space. The main tools shared during the workshop were that of governance mapping, and monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL).

The basis for the information and knowledge shared during this workshop was derived from The Knowledge Brokerage Support Program (KBSP) Vol I and Vol II manuals that were developed in partnership by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), the Australia Pacific Climate Partnership (APCP), the Pacific Climate Change Centre (PCCC), and the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme - SPREP.
