Everyone loves a good movie. The Climate Partnership Support Unit is working with the highly acclaimed theatre company Wan Smolbag, in Vanuatu to produce a film about climate change and people’s local experiences.
We know that visual communication is a powerful tool in raising awareness about climate change impacts, in helping people to talk about the issues locally, and how to manage the impacts on people, their lives, livelihoods, businesses and assets. The Wan Smolbag movie will show actors interacting with climate change as a real force in their lives and will tell a story about how young people in particular are playing a role in getting all of us to take notice.
