The Australia Pacific Climate Partnership umbrellas three major components – COSSPac2 is a science program managed by the Bureau of Meteorology and SPC/SPREP, working with national met services to improve weather forecasting and early warning systems; The Support Unit, working to ensure all Australian aid investments and climate and disaster informed and resilient, and the Pacific Resilience Governance Program, which will work to build risk informed planning and development practice nationally and sub-nationally in Pacific Island countries.

The Support Unit also provides overarching program wide GESI and MEL support, and we aim to work together on future activities to take advantage of the synergies offered under the program for accessing climate science, brokering, tailoring ad bringing it to inform good development practice in the region – the last mile.
