    The COSPPac team welcomes our new intern based at the Pacific Community (SPC) in Suva.

    Kimberly Samson will spend three months with the team working across the different thematic areas within the Oceans and Maritime Programme. Kimberly will be will be exposed to various methodologies, tools, information systems, publication and communication techniques that are used by ocean experts in the Pacific on a day-to-day basis .

    A graduate in Marine Science from the University of the South Pacific, Kimberly is in the process of submitting her Master of Science in Marine Science (Aquaculture) thesis for examination at the USP. Originally from Nadi, Fiji, she has a certified open water diving certificate and experience in carrying out marine research surveys.

    Kimberly will be the sixth candidate to undergo the internship training under COSPPac with SPC.
