Suva Post All Staff Briefing

The Support Unit convened an all-staff briefing on 2 March 2020 to provide Suva Post with the latest climate science information as well as DFAT policy updates (pictured). It was part of the Support Unit’s annual advisory visit to Suva Post to work with program managers to progress the integration agenda.  

The Support Unit also met with several implementing partners, including UNDP Governance for Resilient Development in the Pacific (GRDP) program; Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC);

Accelerating Climate Education (ACE) program; the International Finance Corporation (IFC); USAID Climate Ready; and the Pacific Island Forum Secretariat (PIFS)’ climate change advisor.

The integration action points for the Fiji bilateral investments were uncovered during the visit; and recorded in the Support Unit’s Support Schedule 2020-2021 for follow-ups in the next 12 months.
